History of commercial public notary: its origins

Abstract
The present research work seeks to offer an historic approach to the evolution of the public brokerage as a fundamental institution in commerce and trade development as we know it today. Public brokerage as an ancient institution, as well as commerce, has been part of an accelerated evolution, however, despite its relevance and huge benefits that offers to all merchants and business in general, it hasn´t had enough dissemination needed by those who, directly or indirectly, play an important roll in this noble activity.
