Abstract
The Spanish Armed Forces, made up of the Army, the Navy and the Air Force, are constitutionally assigned a series of missions, in the development of which they may be forced to carry out activities of a very diverse nature, both within the national territory. the Armed Forces contribute to the action of the State, to respond to a certain situation, with their personal and material means, are normally attributed the name of “military operations”, using the expression “context operational” to designate the environment in which they are developed. The following lines are
going to be devoted to the analysis and exposition of the legal framework that serves as the legal basis for these military operations, in its general lines and with a merely informative character.
