Abstract
This issue, in accordance with the Italian magazine, focuses on palliative care. The importance of these and the different ways by which a terminally ill patient can be taken is demonstrated.
This issue will be addressed starting with palliative care within a hospital structure: a specific hypothesis or a provocation? Solving the most common doubts in patients. Is palliative care helpful in this phase or is it just an alternative? What is the doctor-patient relationship? If I am a family member, what is the best way to handle the situation? Among other frequently asked questions.
These questions lead us to delve into topics such as palliative care in neonatal pathology, and palliative care within intensive care, both from the medical and nursing point of view.
